Today we are handing in the final completed version of our game, its no longer a beta version : ). All the sheets are prepared and enveloped and about to be put in a box. The game itself seems to have blossomed into an enjoyable activity rather than an assignment. Which is a fresh change from the usual assignments we're given on a weekly basis. All four of us each had a significant input into the development of the game, and without teamwork it surely would have been a failure.
So as a whole the excercise itself thought each of us new lessons in teamwork and creativity. Hopefully the game will be seen as a success by the lecturer now too or all will have been for nothing : ( . Thursday coming we will have to present our game in front of the class and try to make it seem as exciting and interesting as it has been to create. It is our hope that our class mates enjoy our presentation ,get an understanding of how the game works and have a bit of fun too.

Cormac, Peter and Gray attended the meeting, we decided to wirte out the conclusion and development a floor plan map of the hotel in which the game is set. The conclusion is there to help out players who during the game failed to uncover the murderer, it gives details of the innocent characters alibi's and gives information on before the murder and how it occured.
The map gives a colourful floor plan of the Hayfield Manor Hotel where the incident took place, it shows players the outline of the hotel and where the murder took place in respect to other parts of the building. I drew a rough sketch on paper and then gary with his skill in graphic design used adobe photoshop to develop a more visual representaion. With the conclusion written and the map completed our game is almost complete with just little details to fill in. Hopefully the game will be as enjoyable for players to play as it has been for us in creating it.
Below is a copy of the finished floor plan map we intend to use.

Gary and Peter attended the meeting. we discussed the idea of having more clues, possible one more per person per round. We also had the idea of possibly trying to find pictures of weddings online and making them fit to our story e.g. a dead bride and the upset groom etc. This idea will be hard to implement so we will work on it and see is it possible!

12 october class
everyone was present at todays meeting.
12.15 - We came up with more people places and weapons, a total of 8 each.
12.30 - With only 4 people in our group we split them up evenly to do research and come up with backrounds and posible motives for the murder.
12.40 - We agreed to have all this done by tommorow
12.45 - We were told a possible way to create the game and we then knew what needed to be done.
We needed to create a murder with a motive and get all the pieces of information that would be needed to solve it and then split that into clues for the players to then unravel
